Problem Statement


The website lacks in-depth insights into its user behaviour, hindering its ability to provide an optimal user experience. Specifically, the website needs to capture specific visitor interactions and gather user demographics to better understand its users. Without this information, it is challenging to identify areas where the website can be improved and tailored to meet the needs of its users.

Methodology


  1. Defining Objectives and KPIs: This step involves clearly defining the objectives of the analytics report and identifying the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the success of the objectives.

  2. Data Collection: In this step, the data needed for the report is collected from various sources, such as website analytics tools, social media platforms, CRM systems, and other relevant data sources. The data collection process should be structured, consistent, and accurate.

  3. Data Processing and Cleaning: The collected data is processed and cleaned to ensure that it is accurate, complete, and consistent. This step involves removing duplicate data, identifying outliers, and correcting errors or inconsistencies.

  4. Data Analysis: In this step, the processed data is analyzed to gain insights into user behaviour, engagement, and other relevant metrics. The analysis should be structured around the objectives, and KPIs defined in step 1.

  5. Data Visualization: The insights gained from the analysis are visualized in graphs, charts, and tables, making it easier for stakeholders to understand the data and draw actionable insights.

  6. Reporting and Recommendations: In the final step, the insights and recommendations are compiled into a report that includes a summary of the objectives, key findings, and actionable recommendations. The report should be concise, well-structured, and easy to understand.
